Lululemon your life
Lululemon is one of my favorite brands. Their clothes are expensive and they never go on sale. A previous version of myself would balk at shorts that cost $90. But now, I’ll almost certainly buy them over anything else. In the long-run, those Lululemon shorts will cost me less than other cheaper alternatives that quickly wear out.
In a world where it seems like I keep accumulating more and more, I’m looking for ways to simplify my life by buying things that last [1]. I no longer need the constant instant gratification as I, and many others like me, strive to rebel against the consumerism that has taken over our lives.
But perhaps more importantly, can we use this same principle towards our lives? Can we be more patient with ourselves? Instead of the newest gadgets, movies, and restaurants, can we instead invest in our relationships, habits, and skills?
