“No pain, no gain” For so long, I subscribed to this mindset. If I wasn’t in pain, I wasn’t pushing myself hard enough. I wouldn’t admit it but deep within me, I held this truth. So I sought pain where I could. But it doesn’t work that way. Pain for the sake of pain is not meaningful. It’s just unnecessary suffering.
