“When the well is dry, we know the worth of water.” I walked by this Ben Franklin quote every day during undergrad. Last week’s SVB crisis reminded me of the quote and the gratitude that I have for more normal days. So often we expect basic things to just work — good health, relationships, public security, and, yes, our banks too.
Yash i am a firm believer in what you wrote. We make trivial arguments/ disappointments larger than life. A normal day, good health, travel, our loved ones being well, a house to stay in.. we would be in a better space than 95% of the world! Only if our attitude changes...
